throwing my drop in the bucket, this "guide" is a highly opinionated collection of silly activities I like to do in WEBFISHING (the game where you fish, on the web)

This game has SO MUCH to do!

DISCLAIMER: I am not a technical player, nor am I a hardcore one; I kinda just vibe. I've also not done *everything* there is to do in the game.

Enjoy the peace of solo mode

WEBFISHING is absolutely peak as a social game, however sometimes the randos can be a bit TOO chaotic, and even downright unpleasant. Solo/offline mode is ideal for these times, as you don't need other players for anything besides perhaps begging for fragments and scratchcard money. Turn on your favorite music, maybe a podcast or one of those 3 hour long youtube videos that always ends up on your autoplay when you aren't paying attention, and just chill by yourself for a bit! Ah, sweet isolation...

Make some funky floor art!

What is a social game without a bit of good ol' graffiti? Grab some chalk and get doodling! You can do precise pixel art by holding CTRL, or just smear like crazy by holding SHIFT (apparently theres also a way to do a random spraycan pattern but I haven't figured out the bind for that). Just make sure if you plan to draw naughty stuff, you get the OK from the server owner, or you might get kickbanned for being a weird little freak. Big tip: the rainbow chalk shifts color like RGB lights! It is VERY cool.

Play some cool music!

The guitar is a pretty robust instrument, capable of saving up to 9 chords for you to play at the press of a button! And considering how many songs use the same four chords, you have a ton of things to choose from, or you can even just,,,make up your own! There are even in-depth guides on how to set up midi controllers to play more complex stuff! Go out there and totally Weezer someone!...or you can just slap a tambourine, thats good too. Hey, maybe one of the guitarists needs percussion!

What the heck is a fish??

You know, you don't HAVE to fish in this game...absurd, I know, but if you have the patience for it, you can get plenty of money via the metal detector and scratch cards! Take the hockey puck on a leash out for a stroll, dig up a bunch of bullet casings, old buttons and whatnot, trade em in for funny gamba paper, and pray to Lady Luck you didn't just get scammed! I JUST KEEP WINNING! aw darn it, aw darn it,

Host your own server!

What better way to make new friends than letting a bunch of strangers into your home? If you have a good PC and decently strong bandwidth, hosting your own server is an excellent way to meet some absolute characters! Plus as host you can kickban the weird little freaks that keep drawing gross stuff all over your nice cobblestone!

We're gonna need a bigger plunger...

The toilet prop is probably one of the coolest things in this game. Not only is it extremely funny, you can FISH out of it! As far as I know its also the only water with both salt and freshwater fish! You can even catch fish that only show up when its raining, such as Anomalocaris and the mighty Leedsichthys! Very convenient for when the raincloud spawns somewhere there isnt much actual water. Bonus cool points if you get a whale or the average Florida resident (the fabled sewer gator)! And speaking of props...

How the heck did you get up there?

I failed epicly trying to do this myself (as you can see from the image) but with careful prop placement, you can pretty much go to space! Who needs private islands when you can make your own in the clouds? Actually you might still, because you can set your island teleport flag up there and use that as an easy way back up and down! Can we get much higher...

Can you smoake it??

Sadly no you cannot smoake le epic sea dank...but it IS funny to collect! Some players might even accept rarer variants of seaweed as trade currency for fragments or treasure chests! I know I would!

What the heck I thought this was a kids game!

Don't let the cutesy Animal Crossing-esque artstyle fool you, this game appeals to ADULTS! Crack open a cold one with the boys and get ABSOLUTELY HAMMERED!!! Or if you prefer non-alcoholic beverages, theres always the slushies and various sodas! My favorite is the shrink soda because it makes you small.

Cool and Epic guide part 2: WEBFISHING with a buddy!!

Chilling by yourself can get pretty lonely, but you don't always want to hang out with a bunch of goofy strangers...this is where private multiplayer comes in! This section covers a few things you can do with your closest besties!

Just chillin tbh

Hangin out with some of your favorite people is absolutely a good time. Talk about your day, shoot the sh*t and just vibe. There's no right or wrong way to do this!

Ohohoho...you are approaching me??

Theres VIOLENCE?! in our chill fishing game??? What the absolute HECK!!! If you get bored of just peacefully sitting around and tossin a line in the water, grab a boxing glove and trounce the homies! Knock em sky high and dunk them in the water! ...Or just troll a bit by toggling off the griefable setting and gaslight them into thinking their glove doesn't work >:3

Behold, my Particle

You may have caught the biggest catch...but what about the smallest? With luck and patience, you too can tinymog your friends! I am particularly proud of my own Amoeba Bowfin, it is only 0.14 centimeters with no listed size modifier! Absolutely PUNY and I love it <3

Show off your other great catches!

Despite what some may say, size isn't always everything! Show off your absolute weirdoes or just whatever is your favorite!

WEBRACING!!!

Did you know WEBFISHING is secretly an avant garde 3D platformer? With practice you can absolutely SCHMOVE in this game! Use your knowledge of the game's physics and deep movement mechanics to challenge your pals to some impromptu footracing and see who's the most agile! Ah, so THATS what the speed slushies are for...
